(of not understanding the art)
(or not knowing if the art needs to be understood)

The exclusive art collection of AbstractArtGallery.com now contains 42 pieces of extremely rare abstract art like you have never seen before.

Computer-generated abstract art is made possible by sophisticated software from Adobe called Photoshop in the control of--and lack of control of--the curious mind.

Can this extreme piece of equipment actually create something that will be seen and appreciated? Will it create a reaction? Will it be like a slow stream flowing gently in the mountains, or a nuclear bomb going off?

What will happen?

Abstract art is very confusing for many people. Life is often a search for meaning, and art is used as a resource to communicate meaningful ideas. Yet the abstract seems to communicate absolutely nothing. It's completely devoid of meaning. Or is it?

Abstract art in the eye of the beholder is a blank canvas. It means whatever you want it to mean. It has as much or as little meaning as you want it to have.

The male mind, especially, that analytical chunk of mass, puts too much effort into understanding abstract art and it can be unusually frustrating.

Walking in darkness, searching for light... is it there? Can I go on? Should I? I feel lost.

The issue isn't whether something artistic has meaning; it's do you like it? Or do you hate it? You don't actually have to like art to get it. If it does something for you, creates any emotion--good, bad, or ugly--it might be just what you need. Or if it is the opposite--free of emotion--that could be perfect.

Abstract art of the purest kind is a 50-50 relationship between artist and viewer. The artist doesn't do all the work for you. The abstract artist opens the door to your creativity; then you have to walk through it.
